Augusta Yonga, Journalist and Konomusu Blogger
"I am an award-winning journalist based in Kono District. I love to write about politics in Sierra Leone as well as social, economic and political issues closer to home in Kono. I have started this blog as a way to recognize the wonderful achievements of Kono women at home and in the Diaspora and to show young girls, especially KonoCEF distinguished awardees and hundreds of our schoolgirl volunteers the success of female role models from our own communities." |
